If you are serious about finding employment, you will want to make your local VocationalRehabilitation office your very first stop.. Your local office will be staffed with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors and other specialized staff to meet all of your vocational needs. Services range from counseling and guidance to help you learn about your strengths and abilities and explore career options to orientation and mobility services to help you safely navigate to and from work. If necessary, you may even be able to obtain funding for higher education. World Services for the Blind offers training for individuals with disabilities to enter into well paying fields including Information Technology, Credit Counseling and positions with the IRS.
