Thankful

Well another Thanksgiving is just about over. We have eaten until we can’t eat anymore and enjoyed tons of family fun and conversation.

As I reflect back on my day, I really do have so much to be thankful for. I have a happy healthy amazing son and husband and tons of family who love and care about all of us. I have a nice warm place to sleep, plenty of food to eat and employment that ensures that our family will be able to live comfortably. Most importantly and often overlooked on a day like today, however, especially for those who are suffering from vision loss, I am thankful for my health. I am thankful that I was able to wake up today and enjoy another day on this great earth. I am thankful that I am able to walk and play with my son and hear his giggles and laughter all day.

Every day is not perfect, but I cherish and thank God for the moments that I am able to have on this great earth. I hope that you are able to find things that you are thankful for this great Thanksgiving Day and that you are able to remember the positives in your life no matter how tough life gets.
